Sisters.

Ok, so I will type while I watch the Opening Ceremonies. GO USA!
Sisters. sis·ter
ˈsistər/
noun
plural noun: sisters
  1. 1.
a woman or girl in relation to other daughters and sons of her parents.
    synonyms:sibling
    informalsissib
    "my sister Martha"

My sister and I don't have the best relationship. Actually, we've never been close. That comes with her being almost 10 years younger, a different dad and a whole different personality. Perhaps if we had been close in age we would have been closer. My sister and I don't even talk. I would love to change that but truth is we don't have anything in common. She feels awkward as much as I do.

Fast forward. I have two girls 18 months apart. It works. Most of the time ;) However, they are close in age and can relate more to each other. I like that. It makes me feel better knowing their relationship will work. They will be close. Best friends. Wish I had that.

Me and my sister Cat. She's almost 22 meanwhile I am almost 32 :p (I really should stop saying almost)

Bean and Peanut in a Bean hug :) I love when they hug!!!

I was reading how people are always asked if they will have more kids....and as SOON as Celeste was born I was asked that same question. The truthful answer? I am content at two. The Spouse would prefer a 3rd/boy, but this sister thing is too fun. I'm content. I love watching them. I love watching how close they are. How they share....one day they will appreciate their sisterhood. a friendship. a bond. Although, I don't have that, I'm glad they do. Its important. #sisters
