I was reading a book to Peanut and Bean today and jealousy finally appeared. Bean wanted the book ASAP. No way was Peanut going to even touch a book that is/was Bean's. She has been doing that. Unless its Bean's idea, NO WAY is Peanut permitted to touch (or in some case's drool) on Bean's stuff. *sigh* I knew this was coming but I had hoped...lots of hope....that it wouldn't be bad. Bean doesnt like sitting in my lap. She prefers daddy and playing with her toys. (what happened to mommy???) Well, I had to go find another suitable book for Peanut after giving Bean the book. At least this new book was specifically FOR Peanut...her Christmas gift. After all, who doesn't live the Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle? ;) Here is a cute photo from Peanut's reading session.

And this is why Carle is one of my fav children's authors. He captures attention with so much color even an almost 5 month old enjoys it!!!!! :) I'm glad she enjoys looking at books so early :) Bean loves to read, sing, etc. We started her early on reading, alphabet etc, Bean knows her whole alphabet! So proud! We are working on numbers and colors as well. Helps that she loves Sesame Street! Grouch = green, Cookie Monster=blue, Elmo (her fav) = red, Big Bird = yellow and so on! She also LOVES clocks. perhaps some day soon she will be telling time. #smartdiva

Still waiting on results for me. Calling tomorrow since no one called me. Oh well. I am getting very sleepy. Been busy re-lactating with my munchkin. I swear Bean is getting more hyper each passing day!!!! Peanut had an I want daddy day...so he finally got her to sleep after holding her....
I caught Bean "twerking" tonight. I in no way shape or form condone butt shaking so of course we looked at each other...what the heck? laughed a little and told her that wasn't polite..... ok so no we just laughed. We do need to figure out a way to avoid butt shaking in the future though. I have NO idea where she learned it. Kids education cartoons ONLY in our home.
